Join the Homecoming Committee and other student organizations as we give back to the Millikin community through service. Reception and possible trivia game to follow!

Monday, Oct. 1: "Millikin Pride Day”
Wear your favorite Millikin T-shirt today.
Preview Party: 11 a.m.-1 p.m., arrival court
Stop by the Homecoming table in the arrival court and pick up your FREE Homecoming novelty items, order dance tickets and buy a Homecoming T-Shirt!
Kick-Off Event: 5-8:50 p.m., Frank M. Linsday Football Field
The Kick-Off Event is one of the most popular and beloved events of the Homecoming week! There will be FREE food, two yard games provided by Funsource and entertainment by Millikin student groups. The headline artist is Mike and Joe! You will have the opportunity to meet Millikin’s Greek chapters and the 2007 Homecoming Court. So join us for some great music, food and fellowship.
Fireworks: 9 p.m., Frank M. Linsday Football Field
What a great way to kick off Homecoming Week by closing day two with the greatest fireworks show Decatur has to offer!

Tuesday, Oct. 2: Talent Show
8-10 p.m., Kirkland Fine Arts Center
Watch fellow colleagues and students have fun by performing acts of song, dance and novelty as we celebrate the talented stars of Millikin University! Enjoy performances by Greek chapters, student organizations, and individual students as they compete to take home the grand prize!

Wednesday, Oct. 3: Appreciation Day
Support Staff Luncheon: 12-1 p.m., Lower Richards Treat University Center
This day is set aside for the Millikin Homecoming Committee to recgonize those Individuals who work hard every day to operate the normal business of our university. To those support staff workers we say “thank you ” by providing a nice luncheon as a token of our appreciation!
Chalk the Walk and Banner Competition: 1-3 p.m., Front of Shilling Hall
Apply or stop by and visit as student organizations show their school spirit by “Chalking the Walk” and displaying spirited banners.

Thursday, Oct. 4: Free Day

Friday, Oct. 5: Big Blue Spirit Day
We invite the campus to wear school colors, blue and white, to demonstrate school spirit!

Pep Rally: 12-1 p.m.
A new and exciting event this year is sure to provide excitement and fun! There will be FREE food provided by the University Center Board, announcement of  all of the fall sports coaches and captains, plus another chance to buy Homecoming T-shirts and dance tickets.
Career Connections: 1-4 p.m., various locations
In cooperation with the Alumni and Development Office, the 2007 Homecoming Committee is pleased to announce its partnership in the Alumni Connection sessions. Join alumni who specialize in your field for a question and answer session where you get to learn and make connections to life outside of Millikin. This a great opportunity for networking! Check with your school or college building for locations.
Milli-Dare: 1-2 p.m., Miller Centennial Quad
Modeled after Nickelodeon’s Double Dare, we are pleased to provide Spirit Games 2007! Participate or watch as teams go through mental and physical challenges to be crowned Homecoming 2007 Most Spirited Team!

Homecoming Dance: 9 p.m.- 12 a.m., Wornick Dining Hall
Come dance the night away as the committee transforms Wornick Dining Hall into an eloquent ballroom! Refreshments and beverages will be served.
Coronation: 11 p.m., Wornick Dining Hall
While at the dance join the committee, President and Mrs. Zemke as we crown the 2007 Homecoming Queen and King!

Saturday, Oct. 6: Homecoming Game and Comedy Show
Homecoming Football Game: 1 p.m., Frank M. Lindsay Football Field
Join alumni and students as we cheer on the Millikin Big Blue Football Team to victory! Be sure to wear your Millikin Homecoming T-Shirts to show your pride!
Homecoming Comedy Show: 9 p.m., Lower Richards Treat University Center
Come enjoy the comedy stylings of Vanessa Fraction and Nema Williams at this event open to Millikin alumni and students, sponsored by Center for Multicultural Student Affairs, Alpha Phi Alpha, Delta Sigma Tau, Sigma Gamma Lambda Colony, Sister Circle, LASO, Black Student Union, ISO and Minority Report. Students may bring two guest with a student ID.

Sunday, Oct. 7: Men' Soccer Game
1 p.m., Millikin Soccer Complex
Come cheer on the Big Blue as they take on Westminster University.
