Mary Peters, Administrative Assistant III to the Dean of Arts and Sciences

November 2009 Employee of the Month, and Employee of the Year

Mary Peters began working at Millikin University on June 18, 1988 as a part-time Secretary in the Office of Career Development & Placement. Mary became a full-time Secretary in the Student Development Office effective 7/31/89. Mary was promoted to the position of Secretary to the Dean of Students effective November 23, 1992. Effective September 16, 1996 Mary transferred from Secretary to the Dean of Student Life to Receptionist/Clerk in the Registrar's Office. Mary transferred from the Registrar's Office to the Secretary to the Dean of Arts & Sciences effective September 11, 2000. Effective July 1, 2008 Mary's title changed to Administrative Assistant III to the Dean of Arts and Sciences.
