Millikin University and the Information Technology Department
adhere to copyright standards concerning software copying and use. Software
use on the network is metered for the correct number of licensed copies and
copying software from the network is both prohibited and inhibited. Please
help us teach the students about the ethics of copying other people's work
without acknowledgment or payment. This lesson cannot be taught unless all
adhere to these laws/standards. Intentional
or repeated access of this sort must be viewed as putting Millikin's software
licenses in jeopardy and will be dealt with accordingly. For more information
about software piracy and the penalties thereof, please refer to the Business
