Allowing Pop-ups in Mac OS 10.3
If you use Safari in Mac OS 10.3, you probably
have noticed the built-in popup blocking feature.
This is very evident when trying to view bills,
faculty evaluations, etc. in MUOnline - they
will not display (a blank white box tends
to come up and then disappear, but not always.)
The process to allow popups to display is
relatively straightforward and just requires
four steps, listed below:
- Open Safari.
- Click on the Safari menu.
- The third option down will say Block Pop-up
windows. Look to see if there is a checkmark
to the left of this.
- If there is a checkmark, click on Block
Pop-up windows. This will disable the feature.
(If there is no checkmark, the popup blocker
is already disabled.)
This should stop you from having problems
using MUOnline and other websites that require
popups.
