Student Computer Setup Information
If you are having problems connecting
to the Internet, and you have already gone to SH 114 to pick up
a student computer setup sheet and walked through it, download this
form and walk through all the steps. If you still have problems connecting,
or are instructed to call the IT office, do so at x6488. We can not help
you until you have gone through this form and have it filled out.
Support for Networked Personal
Computers
There are two standard categories for Millikin University student owned
personal computers, PC and Mac. If you are planning to obtain/bring a
computer to Millikin University for the purpose of connecting to our local-area-network
(LAN), please be sure you know which category your machine will fall in.
Do not assume that we can provide any services that are not listed below.
If your computer does not fall into one of the categories, it is likely
that your computer can not be supported on the Millikin University LAN.
If you have any questions please contact the Information Technology office
at 217-362-6488.
