KirkOut is a program that connects people to special learning opportunities that originate as fine or performing arts events at Kirkland Fine Arts Center and Millikin University.
The KirkOut: Chamber Series is an informal lecture-recital series offering the audience an experience that combines informative dialogue with great creative exchanges. Click here for the 2010-2011 Season.
The Millikin University Department of Theatre and Dance cordially invites you to attend Curtain Talks, a series of informal discussions immediately following the Friday night performance of each mainstage production. Cast, crew, designers and directors will gather in the theatre after curtain and discuss YOUR reactions, insights, and questions. Theatre is not theatre without an audience. Without you, we are just talking to ourselves. We want and need to hear what you have to say!
Kirkland wants to showcase your talent in our lobby during our Series performances. E-mail email@example.com with your group or solo names, type of performance, and technical requirements and we will work with you on setting up a special showcase! Performance attendance ranges from 400 to 1,800 patrons, making our lobby entertainment the perfect opportunity for local performers to be seen and heard.
