Kirkland Fine Arts Center has partnered with Starbucks Coffee on Mound Road and local community arts organizations to present Coffee Conversations. These discussions provide an open dialogue among the Decatur community about how the fine arts can better serve our region. Check back soon for a schedule of 2008-2009 meetings revolving around the topic "Arts in Education" Gatherings are held at various fine arts venues around the Decatur area and include complimentary beverages.
Arts Advocacy Through Storytelling

Open invitation to teachers & community members to share their stories on how the arts have aided students' education.
Action Items:
- Share an arts in education success story. Send a short personal story about how the arts have helped to shape a student's or your life and how the arts influenced educational success. Send your story to kirkout@millikin.edu.
