Grand Hall

The Grand Hall extends from the front door the length of the home to the dining room.

The fireplace is the most ornate in the house, with the Corinthian columns, the acanthus leaf carvings and marble face. The hearth emulates the carving on the face of the fireplace.

The lion motif seen in the center of the ceiling (see right) was a favorite of Mr. Millikin's.

This decorative ceiling is located directly above the fireplace in the Grand Hall.
