April 24, 2008 - Three Spanish students receive awards at recent Honors Convocation ceremony

They were presented with these awards due to their outstanding work and/or contributions to the department of Modern Languages.

James A. Hafer - Modern Languages Linguistic Excellence Award (for outstanding oral and written proficiency in Spanish)

Jesús E. Velasco - Modern Languages Literary Criticism Award (for outstanding work in literary analysis of texts written in Spanish)

Joan N. Tirado - Margaret Burkhardt Johnson Modern Languages Excellence Award (for an outstanding senior in Modern Languages)
