Spanish Honor Society 

Since March 31, 2005, MU has been home to the Phi Tau chapter of this national student organization.                                                                                                                                  Sigma Delta Pi is currently advised by Luis Peralta, Spanish Lecturer of the Department of Modern Languages.

The honor society of Spanish Sigma Delta Pi inducted 10 new members on November 2^nd, 2007. The event was conducted by active members Brenda Munoz, Erin Jurgens, and Kelly O’ Connor. Among the guests were Millikin University President Doug Zemke, Steve Fiol , Carmen Aravena, of the Center for International Education, parents, and friends of the inductees as well. Dr. Eduardo Cabrera welcomed the participants and the new inductees and he also mentioned the aspirations to conduct future activities in campus and the community.

La sociedad honoraria de español Sigma Delta Pi admitió a 10 miembros nuevos el 2 de noviembre del 2007. El evento fue conducido por las miembras activas Brenda Muñoz, Erin Jurgens y Kelly O’ Connor. Entre los invitados estuvieron presentes el Presidente de la Universidad de Millikin Doug Zemke, Steve Fiol, Carmen Aravena, del Centro para la Educación Internacional, padres y amigos de los inducidos también. El Dr. Cabrera le dio la bienvenida a los nuevos miembros y también mencionó las aspiraciones para conducir actividades futuras en el campus y la comunidad. Sigma Delta Pi está bajo supervisión de Luis Peralta, Instructor de español del Departamento de Lenguas Modernas.
