Duruflé Requiem
A special presentation to the Springfield, Illinois community of this virtuosic composition inspired by historical Gregorian chant.
The University Choir and Collegiate Chorale combine forces to present Maurice Duruflé’s “Requiem.” This masterpiece of the mid-20th century features incredible virtuosity from the organ, with the colors of the choir, cello and soloists rounding out the ensemble. Additional thematic music will be performed by the University Choir.
