These peer tutors have been selected based on the academic excellence and nomination by faculty in their departments. They have been trained by the Office of Student Success on how to provide peer tutoring services in accordance with the American Tutoring Professional's Best Practices and Standards. 

   To work as a peer tutor you must be: recommended by a faculty member in the department / course you want to tutor, work-study eligible, and complete the peer tutor training program. If you are interested in working as a peer tutor, please contact Dr. Rene Verry, Peer Tutor Coordinator for the Office of Student Success, in Library 14D or at rverry@millikin.edu or at  217-424-6398.

   Peer tutors are available to student free of charge because we want to help you achieve your academic goals. Please include the peer tutors in your plan for academic success!
