Celebrate PACE
This spring marks the 5th anniversary of the PACE program at Millikin University. Over 400 adults have graduated with bachelor's degrees from Millikin during this time. To honor our PACE graduates and faculty, two awards have been created: Outstanding PACE Graduate Award and Outstanding PACE Faculty Award.
The Outstanding PACE Faculty Award is based on criteria for excellence in teaching. PACE students and graduates are encouraged to nominate one faculty member who stands out through his/her teaching practices, promotion of experiential learning, integration of theory and practice into the curriculum, and innovation. Who made a difference in your college experience?
The Outstanding PACE Graduate Award was created to recognize graduates who have excelled in one or more areas including community service, leadership, overcoming obstacles, philanthropy, professional success, scholastic achievement, and self-improvement. The award is open to all PACE students who graduated in or before 2007. Faculty members and PACE alumni may nominate one graduate (self-nominations also accepted).
Please support these PACE awards by submitting an online nomination available at www.millikin.edu/pace. The deadline for applications is April 15.
Three faculty members will be selected and announced at the final Faculty Meeting in May. Up to five PACE graduates will be selected and announced at the PACE Commencement Dinner in May. Please don’t miss this chance to recognize our faculty and graduates.
