A Preparation for the Future
It was Tiffany Topol audiences saw singing and dancing across Kirkland’s stage in the title role of “Sugar,” last season’s spring comedy musical. The musical theatre major came to Millikin after high school music teachers suggested she research the university. What Tiffany found was a place that brought the professional world to her doorstep. “We have the opportunity to attend lectures, master classes, and auditions with seasoned professionals who are willing to share their time and knowledge with students,” she says. “We get to hear it all straight from the horse's mouth.” The future looks bright for Tiffany. Whether she’s going to auditions on the East or West Coast, traveling Europe, or performing on a cruise ship—all of which she hopes to do—Tiffany is ready for whatever the acting world throws at her. “The theatre program at Millikin really prepares its students for the business,” she says. “I feel ready.”
