What made you decide to come to Millikin?
I decided to come to Millikin because of the reputation of the Tabor School of Business and the international opportunities that Millikin offered. I was also recruited to play football as well.
What is most impressive about Millikin's academic quality?
I have gained a lot of transferable skills from classroom based assignments and projects that I can carry over into the workforce. I took a marketing research class, and we performed marketing research for a local company. Not only was I expected to learn the material, but I also had to apply all the theories for a successful presentation. This course was
extremely challenging, but it equipped me with skills that I will be able to apply to any career.
How has your major prepared you for your professional life after Millikin?
The thing that I think has prepared me for my professional life after Millikin is that fact that in every Tabor School of Business class it is mandatory to give presentation. These presentation have helped me become extremely comfortable when presenting on a subject I know about and has helped me greatly during my interships.
Describe what a Millikin Education means to you?
A Millikin education mean being prepared with the skill to be successful in the global society that we have today. Millikin not only equips you the theory you need, but reinforces it with practice and real world experiences.
Why would you encourage high school/transfer students to attend Millikin?
The ratio of teacher to students is amazing and you really get a chance to get the help you need.
