BLACKBURN HALL - Blackburn Hall, located adjacent to Walker Hall, boasts air-conditioning, and a small computer lab. An all female hall, Blackburn provides a large lawn and picnic tables to soak up the sun or build snowmen on those colder days. With 107 beds, Blackburn first-year students only.

MILLS HALL - For the 2009-2010 academic year, Mills Hall will be home to the Wellness Learning Community (WELC), a place where students can get in touch with all 6 points of their personal wellness in a substance free environment. Housing up to 130 students in a co-ed environment with single and double accomodations, our students love the close community Mills provides. WALKER HALL - Walker Hall is home to one residential floor of students and is used on an as needed residence hall, meaning that it is not used every year. 2 floors of the building house student organization offices. The ground floor houses a comfortable, furnished lounge with vending machines, as well as the University’s Safety and Security and Facilities Offices. Laundry facilities and a community microwave are located on the third floor.

WECK HALL and NEW HALLS 2, 3 & 4 - Weck and New Halls 2, 3, and 4 are identical to one another. These halls are co-ed by floor and are smaller and more intimate, housing only 50 students in each hall. The New Halls offer air-conditioning and suite style living with a private bathroom for every four students. TV buffs and bookworms alike will enjoy the large study and TV lounges on the ground floor of each building. If you are interested in a "family atmosphere", the New Halls are for you. For 2009-2010, Weck Hall will house the First Year Living-Learning Community (FYLLC) and New Hall 4 will house the First Year Business Living-Learning Community.

HESSLER HALL - Hessler Hall is home to our thematic learning communities. Learning communities accept residents by special application only and certain requirements apply. A co-ed hall, with mostly single rooms, Hessler boasts air-conditioning, spacious rooms, and small floors. If you are serious about your academics and desire a quieter environment, a learning community may be what you are looking for. See the learning communities descriptions for more details.

DOLSON HALL - The premier residence hall at Millikin, Jack C. Dolson Hall is an all class level, traditional residence hall. This 200 bed, co-ed hall is the newest of our facilities and boasts air-conditioning, suite style living, and private bathrooms. Featuring a full kitchen on each floor, students may choose from single, double, and quad occupancy rooms. Students of all class levels will appreciate both the campus bookstore and coffee shop which are located on the ground floor.

THE WOODS AT MILLIKIN - Students with 24 or more credits may choose to live in the Woods Apartments. This privately owned apartment complex houses over 600 Millikin students in apartment style living with private bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen facilities. MILLIKIN EAST - Millikin East Apartments deliver the best of on-campus living and independence to upper class students. These air-conditioned one and two bedroom apartments have full kitchens, living rooms, and storage areas. Just one block from the heart of campus, students will appreciate being able to "get away " after a busy day. Millikin East Apartments are reserved for upperclass students and those students in need of a family living arrangement. The apartments are a housing option on a limited basis; please check with the Office of Residence Life for availability. |
