Education section of the Argus Clearinghouse contains guides to Adult Education; Art Education; Biology, Chemistry Education; International Education (US, Australia, Canada); Distance Education; Educational Technology; Math, Science Education; and others. The Argus Clearinghouse is the premier collection of subject-arranged Internet guides. The Argus Clearinghouse was established by University of Michigan librarians in 1993 as the Clearinghouse for Subject-Oriented Internet Resource Guides, and it is presently maintained by Argus Associates. Each site on the over 1,000 guides is rated according to set criteria, and each broad subject section can be searched using your own words.

The Literacy Web As reviewed by the ALA, this site "offers an extensive collection of online li8teracy-related materials covering a full range of topics from assessment to technology, along with curriculum links for preschoolers through adults, including ESL. MarcoPolo: Internet content for the classroom As reviewed by the ALA, "Sponsored by a consortium of national educational organizations, state agencies, and the MarcoPolo Foundation, this site claims to offer the 'highest quality standards-based Internet content and professional development to K-12 teachers and students throughout the United States.' This site is organized into three categories: teacher resources, professional development, and state network."

National Center for Early Development & Learning As reviewed by the ALA, "Based at the University of North Carolina, this handsome and vaulable resource addresses isues and research related to the 'cognitive, social, and emotional development of children from birth through age eight.'"
