Concert Band Concert

The Millikin University Concert Band, conducted by Dr. Sharon Huff, will present an outdoor band concert on the Dr. J. Roger Miller Quad.

Millikin's new, unnamed, student venture incubator will celebrate its Grand Opening with presentations by current residents including: ZeroEightDesign, Schenk Studios, First Step Records, and Pipe Dreams Studio Theatre.

Seventh Annual Linda Slagell Volleyball Classic

Griswold Physical Education Center

Millikin University will be hosting the Seventh Annual Linda Slagell Volleyball Classic September 25-26. This tournament recognizes Coach Slagell for all of her contributions to Millikin and the volleyball program. In thirteen years at the helm of the program, she is the all-time winning-est volleyball coach at Millikin. This tournament will feature Millikin University, Anderson University, Aurora University and Lincoln Christian College.  Admission is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for senior citizens and students.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets! Enjoy Disney Pixar's movie, UP, on a 36’ outdoor movie screen. Free admission, popcorn, and soda provided by the University Center Board and Fall Family Weekend Committee.

16th Annual Oakwood Street Festival

This year’s festival includes a marketplace with games and information sponsored by Millikin’s student organizations, as well as, numerous entertainment activities.  You can also catch Mike Da Roving Guy and his balloon art, along with Body Art by Margaret, among the many booths at the festival.  The festival will also feature musical entertainment by Millikin student groups.

The Multiculural Student Council is the governing body of ten underrepresented organizations. These organizations include LASO (Latin American Student Organization), BSU (Black Student Union), and ISO (International Student Organization). As part of Fall Family weekend, we have decided to educate Millikin's campus on diversity by creating an event that would have the student and their families interacting with these organizations and tasting food from their various cultures. There will be a small charge of $2 for 5 tickets. (One taste will amount to one ticket).

Arthur’s Great Pumpkin Patch
