The Millikin Microfinance Fund
Welcome to the Millikin Microfinance Fund's website!
The mission of the Millikin Microfinance Fund is:
• To bring positive social change to the Dominican Republic by using microfinance to support women artists in poor economic situations and
• To provide an international, educational opportunity for the Millikin community.
MMF members meet every second and fourth Sunday at 2:00 pm in the HUB. The HUB is located at 1135 W. Wood St., Suite 3.
Our next fundraiser/awareness event will be a Dominican Art Auction on April 20, 2012 at the Blue Connection( a student-run art gallery located in downtown Decatur, IL). The event will take place from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. There will be a presentation on microfinance, live Caribbean music, refreshments, and Dominican art live auction. Tickets for this event are $20.00 and can be obtained by contacting us at 217-853-3723 or at millikinmicrofinancefund@gmail.com. Payments and ticket transfer options are available through PayPal.
