Millikin MBA students are experienced, highly motivated business professionals who are ready to enhance their business careers and become effective leaders in their field. The MBA program is 18 months in length, running from January to May. Each class consists of approximately 25 students.

Students will be reviewed on the basis of profile material required and submitted for admission consideration. Each required document contributes to the overall profile of the candidate for admission.


Qualified applicants for graduate study must provide evidence of good standing at the college or university from which they earned the undergraduate degree.

 

 

Application Deadline

All application requirements must be completed before November 1st in order to be reviewed by MBA Graduate Education Committee for consideration to the next consecutive program that begins in January.

M.B.A. Application Requirements:

  • Application for Admission A two page application form is available in download/printable format Download an Application or contact the MBA program at 217-424-3503 to request a paper copy.
  • (3) Three Letters of Recommendation  The letters must be submitted on company letterhead from individuals with direct knowledge of applicant's education, professional background and leadership abilities.  One letter should come from the applicant’s direct supervisor.

  • Current Resume' Profile should include all professional and educational background along with any awards, honors or distinctions earned.

 

  • Statement of Purpose  Submit a 1000 word statement describing applicant’s personal and professional goals.

  • (GMAT)Graduate Management Admissions Test An official score must be received before November 1st.   The GMAT requirement is waived for applicants who have earned a masters degree or higher in a field, as determined by MBA review committee.
  • Official Transcripts Applicants must request transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate  institutions in which they obtained a degree.

 

  • International students must complete the following in addition to the above-listed application requirements:
  • Official college transcripts in English.   (For translation and evaluation contact World Education Services at www.wes.org)
  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)  English proficiency as evidenced by a minimum score of 550.
