Teaching Philosophy

Dr. Munoz’s teaching philosophy is anchored on “experiential learning.” He believes that when students apply what they learn in theory, they will learn the subject matter more thoroughly and retain knowledge longer. He supplements lectures with interactive activities such as case studies, class exercises, role-playing, simulation, videos, and inviting guests as speakers. In most of his classes, students create business plans to apply what they learn. In a class called International Business Consulting, he works with a team of faculty and students to conduct research while traveling in a foreign country.
