Review:
At the end of the first year there will be a formal review or "hurdle" for Theatre Administration BFA students. The hurdle will consist of an evaluative discussion and portfolio review with the student, the department chair, another faculty member, and the departmental Production Manager. Students must pass this review to continue on in the BFA program.

Performance Obligation:
Millikin believes that all Theatre Majors should experience the full spectrum of the art of theatre if they are to be a well-rounded artist. Performance Majors participate in the technical preparation of a production and Theatre Administration Majors are likewise expected to engage in the process of audition and performance. Theatre Administration majors are asked to appear in a minimum of one performance while a Millikin. This performance could be in a main stage, Pipe Dreams, Dance Concert, or directing class scene.
