Millikin University's Title III grant provides $1.7 million in funding from the U.S. Department of Education to be used over a five-year period beginning October 2002. Funding is dedicated to enhancing student success at Millikin. This goal is being addressed through four primary areas of activity: assessment, advising, retention, and a formal plan of study. Title III funds are available for projects that will enhance Millikin's effectiveness in any of the four primary areas. Projects can be done by individual faculty members or by collaborative groups and are supported by stipends funded by the grant.
Additional information about the grant and related activities can be found by exploring the topics listed above. To submit a proposal for a project or to learn more about opportunities available through the Title III grant, contact grant director Larry Troy or a member of the Title III Coordinators' Group.
