A NEW VISION FOR HONORS: ASSESSING BEST PRACTICES AND TRANSFORMING CURRICULUM

This summer seminar assessed the state of the Millikin Honors Program and made recommendations for changes in curriculum and policies to enhance the program. The seminar was conducted over seven days, with initial work done off-campus in a retreat setting. Attendees included the Honors Program director, clerical staff, webmaster, an new Honors Program committee members. The goals of the seminar were to revise the Honors Program mission statement, curriculum, and website; familiarize new members of the Honors Committee with the program, and lay a foundation for future program review.
