The Millikin Writing Center is an informal and comfortable space where writers can talk about their writing concerns with professional and peer tutors who are willing to listen, share, and respond.

We believe that what writers need most is an informed audience of readers as well as active discussion about how good writing happens.

The goal of these tutorial writing conversations is not necessarily to perfect a given paper so much as it is to help students learn about their own processes as they work through the writing assigned in their classes.

Students who use the Writing Center on a regular basis tend to develop a heightened awareness of their process, discover a variety of strategies for working through papers, and thus develop stronger pieces of writing.

Finals Week Hours:

-May 5-6: 1-10 p.m.

-Study Day (Wed., May 7): 1-7 p.m.

-Th., May 8: 1-7 p.m.

We will close for Summer Break at 7 p.m. on Thurs., May 8
