Anna Dvorchak recently appeared on Millikin University’s Main Stage in Machinal as the mother. She was also seen Neuqua Valley’s Jekyll and Hyde as Lucy Harris, The Outsiders as Cherry Valance, The Little Mermaid as Ariel, Raggedy Ann and Andy as Raggedy Ann, Crazy for You, Kiss Me Kate and Aladdin.

Adam was most recently seen this past Summer in Mississippi at the Oxford Shakespeare Festival with performances including Loves Labour's Lost (Moth), and Hello, Dolly! (Ensemble). He was last seen on the Millikin Main Stage in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (William Barfee), and The Sweet Smell of Success (Ensemble). Ryan first appeared on the Millikin Main Stage in last year’s fall production of Macbeth as King Duncan, then as the Husband in Machinal. Ryan was also featured in Gangsters, Gals, and Gumshoes – a benefit production for the Millikin Homestead. At Moon of Hope Theatre, Ryan was seen in RED (Ken), The Lion in Winter, and You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown). Additional credits include: Annie, Beauty and the Beast, and The Pirates of Penzance.

Andrea recently trained with Kari Margolis at the Margolis Training Center Summer Session in Barryville, NY. She also directed Black Comedy with Lindbergh High School. Additional credits include Little Shop of Horrors and Much Ado About Nothing with Lindbergh High School.

(South Garland High School).


  Alex Miller  -  Director

Associate Professor of Theatre

Alex is Assistant Professor of Theatre from Paola, Kansas. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting from Webster University and his Master of Fine Arts degree in Classical Acting from George Washington University. On the Millikin University Main Stage, Alex provided fight choreography for My Favorite Year, 6 Characters in Search of an Author and Ruthless, and directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream and A Lie of the Mind. He has also performed in Brilliant Traces in the American Theatre of Actors, Richard II in the Actors Studio at Raw Space, Macbeth in the Present Comp. Theatorium, The Tempest at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Arcadia at the Rep Stage (Maryland) and The Merchant of Venice at the Texas Shakespeare Festival.

Barbara Mangrum  -  Scenic Design

Associate Professor of Theatre

Barbara is an Associate Professor of Theatre at Millikin University in the Design/Production Program. Although trained as a Scenographer, most recently Barbara’s design work for the Millikin stage has been focused primarily in the scenic area with last season's designs for Machinal and Cinderella. Later this year Barbara gets a chance to design costumes again when her work can be seen in the final show of Millikin's season, Yankee Tavern. Additionally Barbara serves as the Theatre Department’s Resident Properties Master.

  Jana Henry Funderburk  -  Costume Design

Associate Professor of Theatre/ Head of Design & Production

Jana's designs for Millikin include 43 productions in costume and scenery. Selected professional credits include costume work for Universal Pictures, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, The Kansas City Ballet, The Station Theatre, and The Legacy Theatre. Jana earned her M.F.A. in Costume Design and Technology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Matt Albrecht  -  Lighting Design

Assistant Professor of Theatre

Matt Albrecht is a lighting designer from Madison, WI. For the last four years, Matt served as the resident Lighting and Sound Designer/Production Manager at Lone Star College-CyFair in Houston, TX. Some of his design highlights include The Greeks (Madison Repertory Theatre), The Water Engine (University Theatre), Into the Woods (Houston's Center Stage Theatre), The Temperamentals (Celebration Theatre), and Annie (Madison Theatre Guild). Matt has also had the opportunity to work with Peninsula Players in Door County, WI as a technical intern. Matt is thrilled to join the Millikin theatre family as the newest member of the design tech faculty. Matt would like to thank the cast and crew for all their hard work.
