It is Passover, 1865. The Civil War has just ended, and Confederate officer Caleb DeLeon returns to Virginia to find his home destroyed, his family missing, and only two former slaves remaining. Badly wounded, Caleb must depend on the two men, Simon and John, to save his life. The three men wrestle with their shared past, their uncertain futures, and the bitter irony of Jewish slave-owning, and as the sun sets on the last night of Passover, bitter secrets and painful truths burst to the surface in this haunting and powerful play.

Life is a Cabaret in this masterful journey through the songbook of one of the most prolific writing teams Broadway has ever produced.  The often provocative and always touching works of Kander and Ebb have dazzled audiences for years.  Through this extraordinary collection of songs from hit shows such as Cabaret, Woman of the Year, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Chicago, and more, we explore the exhilarating highs, the melancholy lows, and the eternal effervescence of the human spirit.   We laugh, we cry, we soar, we fall, but through it all, the world goes ‘round.
