Ann Borders professional performance credits include The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, The Boyfriend, Grand Hotel, and Beauty and the Beast at
the Little Theatre on the Square (LTOTS) with favorite roles including
Mrs. Potts, Golda, Mother Abbess and Madame Dubonnet. In their
production of Stephen Sondheim’s Follies, Ann had the great pleasure of sharing the stage with Ann B. Davis (Alice from The Brady Bunch), and Joan Roberts, the original Laurie in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! In
addition to numerous theatre and opera companies across the country,
Ann was seen in the Reinmann Opera Theatre of NYC production of The Saing of Bleecker Street where she was honored to worked with Gian Carolo Menotti.
was a featured soloist with the Millikin University Concert Band under
the direction of Millikin alum Colonel Thomas Rotundi, Jr., leader and
commander of the U.S. Army Band. She has also been honored with several
awards, including the Concerto Competition, the Dorothy Gonzales Award
and the Young Artist Award at the University of Illinois, the American
Opera Award, the Metropolitan Opera District Auditions, and the
Liederkranz Foundation Award, which resulted in a concert at Alice Tully
Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City.
