Matt Albrecht is a lighting designer from from Madison, WI. For the last four years, Matt served as the resident Lighting and Sound Designer/Production Manager at Lone Star College-CyFair in Houston, TX. Matt has designed and worked in theatres across the country. Some of his design highlights include The Greeks (Madison Repertory Theatre), The Water Engine (University Theatre), A Midsummer Night's Dream (University Theater), Into the Woods (Houston's Center Stage Theatre), The Temperamentals (Celebration Theatre), and Annie (Madison Theatre Guild). Matt has also had the opportunity to work with Fairbanks Shakespeare Company in Fairbanks, Alaska and Peninsula Players in Door County, WI as a technical intern. While most of Matt's time these days is spent behind the scenes, he occasionally finds time to make his way back on the stage, having performed in over 40 productions over his lifetime.
