The fourth annual Millikin Trumpet Day should prove to be an exciting day for trumpet players. Four college trumpet professors will collaborate in a series of afternoon clinics and an evening concert. The topics of the day will be many aspects of trumpet performance, including concepts of tone production, wind flow, technique, and practice tips. The clinics will begin at 1:00 in Pilling Chapel, in the middle of the Millikin campus.

The afternoon masterclass is free to the public.
After the afternoon masterclass, you will be treated to an evening performance featuring the four trumpeters in their group "Four Other Brothers". Also performing will be pianist Terry Brennan, drummer Dan Quisenberry, and bassist Adam Cunningham. The concert will take place in Westminster Presbyterian Church (across the street from Perkinson Music Center). The concert begins at 7:30. There is an admission fee of $5 for the evening concert. Admission is free for Millikin students and staff (w/MU ID).
Millikin Trumpet Day is open to middle school, high school, adult trumpeters, and all people who enjoy the art of trumpet playing.
