Millikin University Seeks Excellent Adjunct Faculty
Millikin University is seeking applications for adjunct faculty to teach evening accelerated adult classes.
Anticipated openings include: Adjunct courses that support our evening programs: Accounting, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Management, Nursing RN to BSN, and Organizational Leadership.
1) Must excel at teaching either adult learners in an intensive format in time periods ranging from a few weeks up to 10 weeks.
2) Experience teaching online or hybrid courses preferred.
3) Master’s degree in field of discipline required; Ph.D preferred.
4) Demonstrated ability to teach in specific discipline with commitment to student-centered learning and theory/practice application.
Millikin University is a comprehensive institution with 2400 students, four colleges or schools: College of Arts and Sciences, Tabor School of Business, College of Professional Studies, and College of Fine Arts. The University has an adult degree completion program with five degree areas. The University also offers two professional graduate programs.
