Early Childhood Education Curriculum

The Early Childhood Education curriculum prepares graduates for a career working with young children from birth through third grade. Graduates of the program earn:

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree
  • Illinois Type 04 licensure
  • English as a Second Language (ESL) Endorsement
  • Letter of Approval for Early Childhood Special Education from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
  • complete the coursework required to earn an Illinois Early Intervention Developmental Therapy Credential
