Traditional cookie party remains a big hit.

Thousands of cookies (and countless calories) were consumed at the 79th annual Holiday Cookie Party, held Wednesday, Dec. 5, in Richards Treat University Center. Thanks to the efforts of 45-50 volunteers who provided and served the supply of goodies, MU students and employees enjoyed a sweet treat to welcome in the holiday season.

Considering a tax-deductible gift to Millikin before the end of the year?

As you have likely read or heard, tax uncertainty in 2013 may make 2012 a better year for donors to make gifts to organizations such as Millikin. Charitable gift deductions may be limited next year and taxes on capital gains could rise, too. Both considerations are in play for high-income folks who are contemplating year-end charitable gifts.

The concert will feature One Voice, Jazz Band I and alumni jazz band members. Then cap off the evening with a reception at the alumni & development center.
