Cookie Party

… when you’ve got Millikin’s annual Holiday Cookie Party? The 80th annual event, held last week on campus, brought joy to the hearts and taste buds of hundreds of MU students and employees. Dozens of volunteers who bake and serve make this event possible each year.

Winter commencement held Dec. 15

Last Sunday, 130 graduates crossed the stage at Millikin’s annual winter commencement ceremony in Kirkland Fine Arts Center. Student speakers were Jonathan Williamsen II and Tiffany Kloeppel. The commencement address was presented by Betty Horton, who was instrumental in establishing MU’s nurse anesthesia program.

Considering a tax-deductible gift to MU before the end of the year?

A gift to Millikin is an excellent way to support the educational experience of today’s students, and it can be made in honor or memory of a former professor, classmate or another person. To make an online gift, visit Gifts made by midnight, Dec. 31, are tax-deductible for 2013.

25th anniversary celebration set for 1988-89 men’s basketball team.

Plan now to join the celebration for members of the 1988-89 CCIW championship men’s basketball team. Team members will be honored at half-time of the Feb. 15 game vs. North Park. For more info, email
