Thanks to an anonymous benefactor, all new or additional gifts made to the Millikin Fund will be matched now through June 30 - doubling the impact of your gift.

This year’s Homecoming events include:
• Reunions for all graduating classes ending in 1 or 6
• 30 years of School of Nursing graduates
• 50th anniversary of the undefeated 1961 football team
• 100th anniversary of the SAE fraternity on Millikin’s campus.

Millikin's newest crop of senior theatre talent is coming to NYC the week of May 23. The students will be in town all week meeting with casting directors, agents, and other theatre professionals. They'd love to end their week by meeting up with MU alum to celebrate.
So, we've once again reserved a room at Molloy's Irish Pub beginning at 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 26.

The Caterpillar Foundation will match one-to-one any contributions made to Millikin by Caterpillar employees, retirees and directors up to $3.5 million. The matching grant challenge is part of an $11.5 million total investment made to the “Transform MU” capital campaign by the Foundation and Caterpillar CEO Douglas Oberhelman '75 and his wife, Diane. Funds donated through the Caterpillar Foundation challenge will support creation of a new university center on Millikin's campus, as well as a Center for International Education and the Long-Vanderburg Scholars Program for minority students. More

Celebrations of Scholarship
, an annual showcase of the outstanding student work, was held in late April and included the Honors Convocation, Day of Scholarship, Undergraduate Research Poster Symposium and Business Creation Competition.
Over 150 students were recognized at the Honors Convocation, which included an address from the Distinguished Faculty Speaker Professor James Schietinger. His topic was "Hands and Heart and the Creative Process: How Art Comes Into Being."

The Business Creation Competition also had several alumni judges, including Dennis Beard ‘82, Brent Campbell ’88 and Roy Hinkamper ’95. You can read about the winners here
