Millikin University to manage new Macon County Teen Justice Program

Millikin University, in collaboration with the Macon County State's Attorney's Office and the Andreas Foundation, are pleased to announce that the new Macon County Teen Justice Program will be operated and managed by Millikin University starting August 1, 2017.

For one day on the Millikin campus students are given an opportunity to present a years' worth of achievements and research to the University-wide community; that day is Celebrations of Scholarship (COS).

The celebratory event, held on April 28, was a culmination of academic achievement that represented a vast array of subjects in the fine arts, sciences, business, nursing and more.

Tabor School of Business inducts first members of Delta Mu Delta Chapter

The Xi Sigma chapter of Delta Mu Delta (DMD) International Honor Society in Business was installed at Millikin University during a ceremony held on Feb. 23 in Lower Richards Treat University Center on Millikin's campus.

Millikin University receives $10,000 grant from Ameren Illinois

Millikin University has received a $10,000 grant from Ameren Illinois to support the launch of a new Academic Diversity & Inclusion Grant Program (ADIG). The program will provide resources to support fresh, innovative programming ideas that foster diversity and inclusion among the academic disciplines at Millikin University.

Millikin recognized by Wall Street Journal, Times Higher Education in new ranking

Millikin University has been recognized by the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education (THE) in a new ranking of U.S. colleges and universities released on Sept. 27. Millikin is ranked No. 392 out of 1061 institutions internationally, and No. 97 out of 275 nationally.

Millikin, Heartland sign reverse transfer agreement

Heartland Community College (HCC) and Millikin University have announced a reverse transfer agreement that will benefit students who transfer from HCC to Millikin before earning their associate degree. Heartland President Rob Widmer and Millikin Provost Jeff Aper signed the agreement prior to the HCC board of trustees meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 16.
