December 2007- Aaron Copley
Aaron began working at Millikin University on July 24, 2006 as Area Coordinator. “Aaron is a quiet leader. He never complains and is always positive. Comfortable in being a leader by following, Aaron also contributes to our department by offering up helpful suggestions on improving processes and is always an advocate to the student. I can count on Aaron to always ask the question “Does this help with the students’ development?” or “Will this be advantageous to their experience?”
“Throughout his employment, Aaron has constantly been striving to improve the Millikin experience for those students he interacts with. He has embodied the Millikin slogan of Challenging Minds and Changing Lives through his interactions as an Area Coordinator, Seminar Professor, and student organization advisor. Aaron is consistently courteous and professional to both students and colleagues.”
“Aaron is the most compassionate and genuine professional I have ever worked with in the field of student affairs. He is constantly giving of himself and his many talents for the best outcome on behalf of the students on campus. Aaron has embraced the mission of Millikin and is honestly seeking new and inventive ways to prepare our students for a life of meaning and value.”
