November 2008- Kim Wenthe
Kim joined the Millikin family in August 2006 as the Administrative Assistant in the School of Nursing. Her title changed to Administrative Assistant I in July 2008.
“Kim radiates warmth and acceptance. As our „front door‟ person in the SON, her presence serves as an excellent marketing/public relations mechanism to all who enter the office suite. She is always helpful and is an advocate for both faculty and students. Kim is an excellent team member. I have never seen her become impatient with any student, faculty, or guest. She is faithful and cheerful in her execution of her SON duties.”
“Kim functions efficiently and effectively with the multiple duties of the department, the many requests from faculty and students, and interacts professionally with the general public. She is organized and works to meet individual needs in a timely fashion. She is respectful of individuals and is student oriented in her approach to the school. Kim is always willing to go the extra yard when doing so will improve things in the SON. I personally find her very accommodating to my requests as well as to the occasional emergency request that should have been done yesterday –if I had been ahead of the game.”
