SUBJECT: EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH - December 2009
It is a pleasure to accept the recommendation of the Employee Recognition Committee that Molly Pawsey be honored as Employee of the Month for December 2009.
Molly Pawsey began working at Millikin University on June 24, 2007 as an Area Coordinator for the Office of Residence Life. On July 1, 2009, Molly became the Living-Learning Communities Coordinator for the Office of Residence Life.
The Employee Recognition Committee received very compelling support for Molly's nomination, including the following comments:
“Molly is the epitome of what a Millikin employee should be. She holds herself and her students to a higher standard and succeeds in making the world a better place by affecting one student at a time."
“Molly is one of the most genuine people I know with a contagious spirit that you can't help but catch. She is compassionate, dedicated and a true advocate for our students."
"She has worked tirelessly over the past year to create intentional, thriving living-learning communities, and the results have been incredible. Molly truly exemplifies the heart of Millikin University and would be an excellent choice for Employee of the Month.”
"Molly is a key player in the sometimes forgotten side of the education that Millikin's students receive, and she comes to bat with the background, attitude and - most importantly - true passion for her work that is both infectious and inspiring. "Employee of the Month" is a small way in which we can recognize Molly's profound effect on the lives of the students we serve.”
Congratulations, Molly, on such a well-deserved honor!
