Campus Visit Days include sessions about academic and athletic programs. You'll also have a chance to speak with our admission and financial aid staff. If you can’t attend a Visit Day, we’ll customize an individual visit just for you. It's the next best thing to visiting campus in person.
Can't make it to campus for a visit?

College is much more than time inside a classroom. At Millikin, you’ll find a full calendar of activities, from recreational sports to concerts, student trips and special events.

Did you know that students learn more when they are involved in both academic and social aspects of the collegiate experience? An involved student is one who devotes considerable energy to academics, spends much time on campus, participates actively in student organizations/activities, and interacts often with faculty.

There are several options for housing on and around Millikin University campus.
Living in one of our Residence Halls is a wonderful way to live the American experience and to be able to immerse and experience the great life on campus. You will be able to share a room with an American student and also meet the other international students on campus. Millikin has a Living-Learning Community, which will give you a chance to learn about other cultures and to share your international perspective with many students.

You can also enjoy the life in The Woods Apartments, a wonderful residence next to Millikin with furnished apartments, swimming pool, clubhouse, TV lodge, tanning facilities, and workout center.
On-Campus Dining
On campus, you have plenty of options and dining on campus is a quintessential part of the overall college experience!
You can enjoy salads and sandwiches as well as pizza, deli, grill, salad bar and comfort foods. The Wornick Dining Room offers healthy alternatives and vegetarian options - great food with a social atmosphere.
You will also enjoy bars and restaurants in walking distance from the campus.

As an international student, you will be able to play for the Big Blue and will part of one of the teams we have on campus.

Physical Fitness
The Decatur Indoor Sports Center at Millikin (DISC) offers a broad array of physical fitness opportunities, including organized sports at various levels (varsity, club, and recreational) and fitness classes and centers. As an international student at Millikin you will have access to the DISC at no additional charge.
Diversity Centers and Resources
The Office of Inclusion & Student Engagement (ISE) is one of the many offices which will assist you in your development while at Millikin University. Here you will find services such as various identity-based student organizations, social gatherings, academic support services and programs, leadership development opportunities, mentorship programs, and much more. ISE will also be a place where students, faculty, and staff can dialogue around issues of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, socio-economics and other themes.

The Office of Inclusion & Student Engagement seeks to acknowledge the important role religion and spiritual values play in students' lives as they grow and develop as democratic citizens. ISE will create opportunities for dialogue and learning around issues of spiritual, ethical, and moral concern to assist students in the development of a personal life of meaning and value. Most importantly, ISE serves as a resource for people of various religious or spiritual values among Millikin students, faculty, staff, as well as the surrounding community.
