Millikin University is pleased to announce that DeShawn Pendelton was named Employee of the Year for the 2010-2011 academic year during a recognition ceremony held April 27, 2011.
Voting for Employee of the Year was conducted among Millikin faculty, staff and students. The Employee of the Year is chosen by the Employee of the Month committee and this voting, among other things, is taken into consideration when making the final selection. The competition was open to hourly and professional staff at Millikin.
Pendelton was Millikin’s Employee of the Month for March 2011. He began working at Millikin University on February 16, 2005 as a Duplicating and Imaging Technician. He was promoted to Media Support Specialist in the Information Technology department on March 15, 2006.
