Mark Glause brings a diverse background in leadership, coaching, education, and organizational development to his work in higher education. He holds an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration from Central Community College in Grand Island, Nebraska, a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management, and a Master of Business Administration from Millikin University. His professional experience spans education, nonprofit leadership, athletics, and transportation construction.
Before joining Millikin, Mark served the Decatur community as an educator with Decatur Public Schools, where he taught middle school and coached track and wrestling. He is also the founder of the Decatur Lakers Wrestling Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to creating meaningful opportunities for youth throughout the Decatur community.
A family connection to nursing and healthcare has given Mark a deep appreciation for the profession and those who serve others through it. He is passionate about developing innovative programs and strengthening partnerships that create opportunities for growth and success.
As a Student Success Advisor at Millikin University, Mark works with students in the College of Professional Studies, helping them identify their strengths, overcome challenges, and develop the skills needed for long-term academic, career, and personal success.
Mark lives in Decatur with his wife, and their three children, who attend neighborhood public schools.
