Sarah Calvert is an educator, sound designer, and composer. She is a storyteller who cares deeply about the why—why this story is being told and why now. Her work reflects intention, and she is deeply passionate about education and the growth of her field. She is an active member of SoundGirls and the Audio Engineering Society.
Sarah received her Master of Fine Arts in Sound Design from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and her Bachelor of Arts in Sound Design from Michigan Technological University. She studied music composition at Michigan Tech under the mentorship of Dr. Libby Meyer. Her research interests include immersive sound, recording techniques, and the intersection of learning styles and sensory perception.
