Viveca Richards is a voice educator and performer whose teaching focuses on healthy vocal technique, individualized instruction, artistic development, and contemporary voice pedagogy. She brings five years of university teaching experience from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has also served as an Adjunct Voice Professor at the University of Illinois Springfield.

Richards has experience working with singers of diverse ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience in both individual and classroom settings. Her teaching emphasizes developing technically confident, expressive, and independent singers while creating a supportive and collaborative studio environment. She incorporates approaches to vocal technique, performance preparation, stage presence, and performance anxiety into her instruction, helping students build confidence and develop their individual artistic voices.

As an educator, Richards is committed to creating an inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment. She values the unique experiences and perspectives students bring to their artistic development and strives to create a studio where students feel supported, respected, and empowered to grow as musicians and performers.
