    When you become a Friend of Kirkland, you directly support the fine arts — enriching the lives of people in the Millikin, Decatur, and Central Illinois community.

    The Kirkland Fine Arts Center Friends Program is an opportunity for our valued patrons to share their love of the fine and performing arts with others. Support groups like the Friends of Kirkland and corporate sponsors create 60% of the funding non-profit arts organizations use each year for programming. This means that only about 40% of revenue comes from ticket sales. This is true nationally, at places like Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago or the MET in New York City, and it is especially true at Kirkland Fine Arts Center.
