Internships & Professional Experiences
Learn by Doing
Internships help School of Art & Creative Media students turn classroom learning into practical experience.

Finding an Internship
Students work closely with faculty mentors to identify opportunities that support their professional goals. Internship opportunities may be developed through faculty, alumni connections, employer partnerships, community organizations, University networks, or a student's own professional outreach.
Students are encouraged to utilize Millikin's job system, Handshake, to explore current internship and employment opportunities.
* Art Therapy and Art Education students also complete supervised placements with community and educational partners as part of their professional preparation.
