New Student Welcome Week

Being part of the Millikin community opens the door to an incredible breadth of academic, leadership and co-curricular opportunities. The New Student Welcome Week experience will teach you what is expected in the college environment and how to best engage in the Millikin community to ensure your success. Millikin is a place where you can do more and be more - the possibilities here are endless! You will meet peer leaders (Student Experience Ambassadors) who will guide you through your introduction to college, and assist you before the start of classes.
Welcome Week is a blend of important information for classes and life on campus, as well as social opportunities with your peers and faculty. This is the best opportunity to experience what Millikin has to offer before all of your course work begins. You will also learn about student organizations, studying abroad, internships, student media, intramurals and recreation, community service and many more programs and services that support your academic goals, personal development, holistic well-being and life pursuits.
We look forward to seeing all first-year residents, commuters, and international students at these activities, so that you can learn all the information that is vital to your persistence at Millikin.
