Class of 1980

    • Victor Binkley, Class of 1980, coaches basketball for Clinton High School in Clinton, Ill. This is his 43rd year coaching high school basketball. He coached six years at Mt. Auburn High School, in Mt. Auburn, Ill., and 36 years at Warrensburg-Latham High School, Warrensburg, Ill., where the Cardinals celebrated their 1,500th program win during the 2021-2022 season. Coach Binkley has 724 career wins and 56 championships. He was the 2008 IBCA Hall of Fame Coach.
    • Mike Lengacher, Class of 1980, has been appointed to the TKE National Finance Committee. Duties include: monthly finance committee meeting for the TKE Foundation, work with the Foundation Chairman regarding grant applications, our 990 IRS filings and our Scholarship approval percentages.
    • Cynthia Warner Crowell ’80 retired on May 1, 2025, after 42 years of service as a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) pastor. She most recently served as Pastor/Head of Staff at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, Calif.
    • Sharon Peters Bloch ’85 is a Professor of Biology at Blackburn College in Carlinville, Ill., teaching courses in Anatomy & Physiology, Cell Biology, Microbiology, and Immunology. 
    • Joy Eshleman Joy Burris Eshleman ’86 published her first book, a poetic memoir titled “Light Finds Joy” in April 2026. Joy is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and owns a clinical practice in Beacon, N.Y., specializing in grief, trauma, loss, and life adjustments for more than 30 years. She has written poetry since her years at Millikin, as a means to process life, relationships, and her treasured work as a therapist.
    • Todd Peter Neumann ’88 serves as an Instructional Designer at ATI Physical Therapy in Downers Grove, Ill., developing leadership training and digital learning content to support skill development across the organization. ATI is the largest physical therapy provider in the U.S., with nearly 900 clinics nationwide and additional employer and athletic training partnerships.
