Marcy Playground

The 90s megahit alternative band plays a heart-tugging show of familiar songs and new material.

Influenced by rock greats including David Bowie, Paul Simon, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Nirvana and others, Marcy Playground rocketed to stardom in 1997 with their megahit “Sex and Candy” and have been holding steady on the alternative scene ever since. With a repertoire ranging from modern folk to blurred psychedelia and classic rock, Marcy Playground continues to tour with members John Wozniak (lead vocals, guitar), Dylan Keefe (bass) and Shlomi Lavie (drums). As a featured band on previous Summerland tours, alongside Sugar Ray, Everclear, Lit and Gin Blossoms, the band recently completed a stint with Toad the Wet Sprocket on the “All You Want” tour in 2023.

Kirkland Fine Arts Center is proud to bring these rock legends to the stage in our series finale show of the season!!!
