Millikin graduate Tanya Andricks was recently named the  President and CEO of Decatur Memorial Hospital effective Oct. 13.

In 2013, Tanya left DMH and accepted the role of CEO of Crossing Healthcare, a federally grant-funded community health center providing comprehensive health services to the medically underserved residents of Macon County.

“It’s exciting to return to DMH, where I began my career, as President and CEO,” Andricks said. “DMH plays a crucial role in the health and well-being of our community, and it’s an honor to help carry on that mission.”

DMH is part of Memorial Health, which also includes the Memorial Care primary care and urgent care locations in Decatur, as well as Decatur-based Memorial Specialty Care.

Andricks earned a Master of Health Administration from Ohio University and has served as a member of the Millikin University Board of Trustees since 2017.

Andricks replaces former DMH President and CEO Drew Early, who was promoted to Memorial Health Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer earlier this year.

“Tanya’s thorough understanding of the health needs of Macon County residents, as well as her expertise at managing a complex healthcare organization, make her the ideal candidate to lead DMH into the future,” said Mandy Eaton, PhD, President and CEO of Memorial Health.
